Congratulations on your selection to the 2024 SoDak Cup! Please read through this email for details on the event. After reading through the information, there is a link to a Google Form to indicate your practice round plans and hotel preferences. Amateurs also need to indicate your shirt size. Please take a minute and complete it ASAP.

Itinerary 

 

Friday, Sept 27 - Practice round. On the Google Form at the end of this email, please indicate your arrival time and any practice round arrangements you have already made. Once everyone responds we will put pairings together for those who don't have a group. Elkhorn Ridge has blocked off times between Noon-2PM. 

 

Friday Evening: We will have a cocktail hour at Elkhorn Ridge GC following practice rounds and make pairings for Saturday around 6pm. Everyone will be on their own for dinner on Friday.

 

Saturday, Sept 28 - AM Four-Ball matches start at 8. PM Chapman matches start at 12:30. Players are on their own for food and beverages during play. 

 

Saturday Dinner - Snitches in Deadwood. Bar will open at 7:30. A separate form will be sent later to indicate your meal preference and if you will have a guest ($40 for guests). 

 

Sunday, Sept 29 - Singles matches in foursomes start at 8 AM. 

 

Uniforms - Both sides will be provided uniform shirts. Team captains will coordinate and let the teams know what to wear each day. 

 

We will be at Elkhorn Ridge on Thursday to set up the course. Here are the tee colors to look for. Men - BLUE SDGA MARKERS / Sr. Men (55+) - WHITE SDGA MARKERS  /  Women - YELLOW SDGA MARKERS. If you get there before we have our markers out, you can use this chart for estimated tee locations. Tee locations may vary based on conditions each day of the event. 

 

 

Hotel -  If out of town players can stay with someone in the Hills, that would be great. If you need a room the SDGA is providing free rooms for Friday and Saturday night to players who share a room. For $100 per night you can request your own room.
